RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize existing systems or provide approved interfaces to monitor the operational state and performance of circuits, network equipment, and systems.
- Responsible for performing circuit activation, upgrades, & deactivations related to telecommunications service orders.
- Responsible for the design and delivery of secure voice, video, and data communications networks. Also responsible for the timely updating of related Circuit and configuration management tools such as Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS) and local Circuit Activation database.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including locations, MAC addresses, serial numbers, warranty information, and deployment details.
- Activate, change, upgrade, deactivate trunks, links, and circuits in accordance with DISA TSOs or regulatory guidance as directed by higher levels of control and submits applicable reports to include delayed service, exception, and in‐effect reports.
- Provide site survey and related data for various projects involving installation of outside plant for media connections, connectivity on and off the Pentagon reservation, and outlying/remote dedicated Circuits.
- Provide circuit activations, modifications, upgrades, or deactivations to accommodate customers’ voice, video, and data requirements.
- Perform necessary corrective maintenance actions to restore failed circuits or services back to operational status.
- Perform Test and Acceptance on all trunks, links, circuits, and equipment using assigned parameter codes.
- Maintain system diagrams for all links, trunks, circuits, and systems in the TCFs and the servicing facilities.
- Ensure equipment, cables, patch bays, or other circuit access points are labeled appropriately.
- Coordinate the installation of government circuits with the Defense Information Systems Agency, local users, and associated commercial vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program in accordance with DISAC 310-70-1, tailored to the specific requirements of technical control facility operations.
- Develop a training plan and schedule for all personnel, ensuring coverage of key technical areas and compliance with contract requirements.
- Provide hands-on training on troubleshooting circuits configured in the Tech Control training lab to simulate operational environments.
- Configure and maintain the Tech Control training lab with equipment simulating actual tech control equipment, trunks, and circuits.
- Conduct weekly in-person training classes for initial station qualification and periodic classes thereafter to maintain training currency. Training must include hands-on training on troubleshooting circuits configured in the Tech Control training lab to simulate operational circuits.

- Stay updated on advancements in telecommunications technology and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
