Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides quality assurance reviews of all products to ensure the quality of products developed for the Board are free of errors – this includes technical editing, grammar, and information graphics. 
  • Developing speaking points for executive leadership
  • Creating briefing memos and packages
  • Supporting high profile meetings and committees in support of federal customers
  • Provides general expertise on a variety of topics in support of Board activities, including technical editing of white papers on cybersecurity related topics, Subcommittee and working panel support, and technically accurate and readable notes from all Board meetings and Subcommittee meetings. 
  • Supports the production of interim, draft, and final reports, to include a non-public report (potentially at a classified level). This includes but not limited to draft outlines, annotations, report templates, and relevant graphics, and assist in pulling together all recommendations into the report format for final board review. 
  • Assists with technical editing of requested white papers/reports within three (3) business days of request and the Government will allow additional time for more in-depth white papers/reports. 
  • Quality checks, edits and produces documents with minimal to no error products to support all aspects of Board work in alignment with government expectations.
  • Support shall include identification of stakeholder needs and gaps, drafting of content, final production of materials (including graphics design/support for handouts, websites, and other materials), delivery of services, as required, logistics support and facilitation of meetings and workshops, and general project management support.
  • Attend meetings, take notes and write summaries.
  • Drafting of informal emails, formal letters, talking points, briefing memos, informal/formal summaries, agendas, background documents, etc.,

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance Required DHS Public Trust or higher.

  • MA/MS Degree
  • 10 years of experience
  • Experience working with stakeholders
  • Strong writing and reading skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Senior Policy understanding/engagement
  • Strong time management/organization skills 
  • Must have an active Secret  or TS Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
