Data Migration / Integration Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and oversee data migration strategies, ensuring seamless transition and integration of data across systems.
• Assess existing data structures, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements for enhanced performance.
• Develop and maintain data migration and integration documentation, including detailed plans and technical specifications.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure data quality and integrity during migration and integration processes.
• Implement and enforce data governance and security policies to safeguard sensitive information throughout the migration and integration lifecycle.
• Present system designs for user approval at formal reviews.
• Conduct configuration management, integrating software, interpreting software test results, and recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test results.
• Direct life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management.
• Provide solutions to identified software problem reports.
• Serve as a central point of contact to resolve end user problems and to increase end user efficiency.
• Receive and respond to end user "help" requests and/or trouble reports.
• Analyze whether user problems result from hardware failure/problem, network failure/problem, software failure/problem or is procedural in nature.
• Provide solutions to identified software problem reports.
• Report hardware/network/software problems to the appropriate organization for resolution.
• Work through procedural problems with the user to successful resolution.
• May serve as a system documentation librarian.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:
  • Eight (8) years of experience
• Clearance:
  • Must possess Secret Clearance.
