Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under general direction, leads and participates in the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code through the utilization of tools, including dissemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffers.
  • Responsible for providing findings in a technical report with details of the malware, identification parameters, advanced capabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Conducts research in the area of malicious software, vulnerabilities, and exploitation tactics.
  • Requires experience with application security, network security, reverse engineering, or malware.
  • Requires strong knowledge of worms, viruses, Trojans, rootkits, botnets, Windows internals, and the Win32 API.
  • Extensive experience required in programming (assembly and web) and system analysis with various tools, including IDA Pro, Ollydbg, PCAP tools, or TCP Dump.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active DoD TS/SCI
  • 12 Years of experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, auditing, ethical hacking or Penetration testing, implementing Risk Management Framework and Federal guidance while incorporating industry best practices. Knowledgeable in DoD Enterprise services.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s or 8+ years with Master’s with relevant IT degree.
  • ITIL Foundations certification required within 3 months of start.
  • A certification in digital forensics
    • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)

                        AND

 

One of the following advanced cyber security certifications or trainings:

    • CISSO or CPTE or CySA+ or CFR or FITSP-A or GCSA or GPEN or CCE or CISA or CISM or GCIH or GSNA

                                    OR

    • Army Training: Information Protection Technician WOAC (Cert), Network Management Technician WOBC (Cert), Information Services Technician WOBC (Cert), COURSE ABBR NM ISSM, COURSE ABBR NM NSVT, COURSE ABBR NM ADV NET ANALYST, or WSS 012 - The Cyber Training Range - DCO

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in leading large, technical complex organization. Must have an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance. Must be able to provide guidance to others. Must be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.
  • Demonstrated success and experience managing contractors in a DoD environment, working with Military and civilian leadership, while obtaining mission success and program profitability
