Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s).
  • Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and with scope and complexity similar to this requirement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer, the contract staff, and TekSynap senior leadership.
  • Ensure that project tasks are completed to customer satisfaction and within schedule and cost constraints.
  • Apply project management best practices to the planning, scheduling, assigning, executing, monitoring, and validation of project tasks.
  • Establish and implement processes and management plans to direct all work performed against assigned government contracts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Direct and monitor project work daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating risks and issues appropriately.
  • Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, changes to scope and milestone deadlines, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. 
  • Ensure effective communication to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience as primary Program Manager on large scale, technically network modernization projects with scope and complexity similar to this requirement.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and leading project teams, showing management of team capacity, deliverables, budget, and resources.
  • Assess problems, conduct root cause analysis, and present solutions and recommendations to senior leadership. 
  • Analyses team data, metrics, and trends.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in planning, directing, and managing projects/operations in an organization similar in size to this acquisition.
  • Demonstrate experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technologies.
  • Demonstrate experience in procurement of IT hardware and software.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:
    • 10 or more years IT program management experience
    • 5 or more years IT program management experience in DoD environment
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field (required)
    • Master’s degree in IT-related field (preferred)
  • Certifications:
    • Project Management Institute Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification
    • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level II
      • CAP
      • CASP+ CE
      • CISM
      • CISSP (or Associate)
      • CCISO
      • GSLC
      • HCISPP
  • Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance
