Responsibilities & Qualifications


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Splunk Engineer Expertise for the Operations and Maintenance of Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security; Splunk IT Service Intelligence for a DoD organization
  • Splunk Team Responsibilities include:
    • Splunk System Administration
    • New Solution design and implementation
    • Red Hat system configuration
    • Security Analytics
    • Splunk System reports and visualization development
    • Update and maintenance of technical documentation and diagrams
    • Splunk System functional assessments and operations and performance testing
    • Splunk System consulting and user training,
    • Splunk System Tier-III support services
    • Development of Splunk system technical documentation and SOPs
    • Splunk Architecture analysis and improvement, including fault tolerance and/or high availability
    • Splunk Architecture improvement roadmap development
    • Continuity of Business and Disaster Recovery design analysis and improvement implementation for the Splunk Architecture
    • Installation, configuration, management, and optimization of Splunk software
    • Monitoring and optimization of Splunk Architecture performance
    • Analysis and improvement of configuration of data collection and data mapping
    • Analysis, improvement, and implementation of backup strategy for the Splunk Architecture

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·      4+ years of relevant experience

·        Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

·        Active IAT Level II certification or IAM Level I or IASAE Level I certification

·        Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin or Splunk Architect certification required
