Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Senior technical expert for MS applications design, development and management.
  • Accountable for all aspects of MS Windows requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to MS Windows
  • Responsible for providing support to Windows Operating Systems and Servers (e.g. Windows 7, Windows Server 2008R2, AD, DNS, Exchange, etc.) or designated replacements for the operating systems or software.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining server and workstation baseline images for multiple security enclaves, travel, stand-alone networks and single purpose devices (i.e. Virus Scanners and Data Transfers).
  • Responsible for building and maintaining software sanctuary and deployment packages using SCCM. Senior technical expert for all VMWare systems/servers on all networks.
  • Responsible for server virtualization administration and maintenance for virtual environments. Provides problem resolution for the supported infrastructure in sanctuary, deployment or exercises.
  • Provides design and implementation for all aspects of the virtualization infrastructure development life cycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly.
  • Active IAT II certification (Sec+ ...etc), CISSP preferred.

  • Active Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and VMware certification/ experience.
  • 3-5 years’ VMware VSphere Administration

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related field, plus eight years’ MS Systems Administration. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and VMware certification/ experience OR twelve years’ MS Systems Administration

This team is responsible for providing IT product lifecycle management, technical expertise, and support for the development and operations lifecycle. The team is engaged in the operation and enhancement of over 80 existing IT applications, including several new applications developed annually. Team activities cover information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security.

 

The operation of existing applications and new application initiatives are critical to the success of the mission. Additionally, thousands of personnel in the law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative communities use these services on a daily basis to perform mission-critical work. These applications require responsive, effective, and specialized technical expertise to limit disruption to operations
