Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understands FDIC business plans and FDIC business goals for continued business goal alignment and IT demand planning across all Services under the Contract.
  • Has thoroughly read and fully understands the Contract.
  • Leads all aspects of Service delivery across the Contract, including by:
  1. tracking and managing operations and maintenance activities;
  2. mobilizing appropriate Contractor resources to respond to Incidents that are Severity Level 1, crises and Disasters; and
  3. monitoring and reporting Contractor performance across the Services.
  • Ensures appropriate Contractor talent mobilization, including by:
  1. confirming the suitability of planned Contractor Steady State team; and
  2. leveraging Contractor or industry subject matter experts when needed.
  • Participates in all governance and status updates and acts as the authorized voice of the Contractor and the Contractor delivery authority.
  • Owns Risk Management processes and action items, including identification, mitigation, Resolution and contingency execution.
  • Owns and presents the business case for deployment of new and innovative services that improve Service delivery and retirement of Service tasks that do not.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve Service delivery to FDIC, including by:
  1. identifying and promoting continuous improvement activities to improve the Services and/or reduce FDIC costs; and
  • leading Contractor Personnel in the identification, development and analysis of trends in Service delivery, capacity utilization and infrastructure performance.
  • Ensures best practice deployment in Services.
  • Ensures Contractor is performing in accordance with the Contract.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. An MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred;
  • Successful/referenceable experience managing a fully outsourced infrastructure program in an environment similar to FDIC’s (e.g., comparable security requirements, financial space, etc.);
  • Successful experience in interfacing with executives and interpreting client needs into actionable support activities;
  • Excellent communications and problem solving skills; and
  • Successful experience in understanding the business demands of IT
  • and translating them into implementable support actions.

Overview

We are seeking Relationship Manager /Project Manager to join our team supporting the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Arlington, VA. The Relationship Manager /Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for the client responsible for executing Task Order requests and managing program delivery, and act as a liaison between the client and support services.

 

The mission of FDIC’s Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO) is to provide scalable, efficient technology that enables continuous access to data securely. In support of this mission, FDIC established ServiceNow as an enterprise platform in 2016 and has since implemented six product suites across the ServiceNow platform. The use of cloud platforms like ServiceNow is a key component of the FDIC’s ongoing IT Modernization Program, which emphasizes accelerated cloud adoption to support mission needs. The IT Modernization Program is intended to align the FDIC’s IT program with key Federal priorities, including the Federal Cloud Smart Strategy.
