Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
  • Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the  technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Lead the overall management and execution of assigned task orders, ensuring technical solutions and schedules are delivered on time and meet contract requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for task order-related matters, liaising with the Program Manager, Government Contracting Officer (KO), COR, PMO, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and requirements.
  • Implement and uphold best practices for task order management, reporting, and documentation as outlined in the Contractor Quality Control Plan (QCP).
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to ensure task order deliverables align with program goals and DLA’s mission.
  • Maintain regular communication with task order-level managers, Government management, and customer agency representatives, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Facilitate coordination with other contractors and stakeholders as needed to achieve program and task order objectives efficiently.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all task order deliverables, including status reports, technical analyses, risk assessments, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure all role-based training materials, job aids, and related documentation are created, updated, and distributed in alignment with the task order and contract requirements.
  • Support Section 508 compliance efforts, ensuring accessibility standards are met across all task order deliverables and tools.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:
    • Five (5) years relevant experience
    • Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
  • Certifications:
    • Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification)
    • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
  • Education:
    • BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience
  • Clearance:
    • Must possess a secret clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
