Development Operations/Operations Specialist

The Senior Development/Operations Specialist is expected to be able to:

• Provide support for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps culture.
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure environments are reproducible and scalable.
• Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure.
• Monitor and provide incident response.
• Manage automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to align goals.
• Optimize resource usage and ensure high availability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or on-premises servers.
• Conduct Cloud & On-Premises Management
• Implement security best practices in deployment and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Top Secret Clearance with a CI Poly
• IT change management experience (5 yrs.)
• IT program management experience (5 yrs.)

We are seeking a Senior Development/Operations Specialist to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Development/Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration between software development and IT operations teams. Their goal is to streamline the software delivery process, improve system reliability, and enhance deployment efficiency.
