Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the stable and secure operation of enterprise computer systems and network connections through planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Organize and oversee the configuration and operation of complex information management systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user software issues, connectivity problems, and system performance concerns.
  • Conduct system capacity and performance analyses and recommend configuration changes or upgrades to improve system efficiency and availability.
  • Improve administration accuracy and productivity through the development of automation tools, scripts, and standardized procedures.
  • Deliver training and guidance to system administrators and end-users, including skills assessments and instructional documentation.
  • Provide technical input on emerging technologies and align IT direction with organizational goals.
  • Deliver local and remote maintenance support for operational systems across multiple locations, including general maintenance, system upgrades, and new server/application installations.
  • Supervise junior system administrators in daily operations, ensuring optimal system and resource performance and responsive user support.
  • Apply advanced knowledge in application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
  • Perform and manage vulnerability assessments and remediation across enterprise systems.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Information Processing, with the majority focused on diverse hardware/software solutions.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level software systems.
  • Proven leadership in supporting and managing complex IT infrastructures and supervising administrative staff.
  • Experience with system performance tuning, automation, and secure networked environments.

 

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.

 

Clearance

  • Top Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) SSBI.
