Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis and research. Leads in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.
  • Works directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development.
  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines. Maintains a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and acts independently on technical issues within his/her field of expertise. Will support the ATO and accreditation processes.
  • Advise on planning, directing, and managing specific complex IT/AV capabilities and comprehensive IT/AV design packages, create database architecture diagrams, infrastructure schematic drawings, detailed network, block connect, wireline diagrams, rack elevation diagrams and configuration management plans.
  • Management of baseline and future-state stakeholder requirements gathering process for specific IT/AV capabilities in projects similar in size and scope. Use of software programs (i.e. CAD, Vizio, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Expected to work in cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and executive demonstrations/presentations.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Top Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering).
  • 8 years of experience with Federal Government IT/AV systems.
  • Experience with Planning, directing, and managing specific complex IT/AV capabilities and comprehensive IT/AV design packages, create database architecture diagrams, infrastructure schematic drawings, detailed network, block connect, wireline diagrams, rack elevation diagrams and configuration management plans.
  • Management of baseline and future-state requirements gathering process for specific IT/AV capabilities in projects similar in size and scope. Significant experience with capability specific tracking of software programs (i.e. CAD, Vizio, etc.).
  • Experience gathering requirements, cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and executive communication.
