Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Overview

TekSynap is seeking a Project Manager to serve as Key Personnel in support of a federal Records and Information Management (RIM) program. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall contract execution, personnel management, customer engagement, and delivery of services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall program and project management for a federal RIM support contract.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders including the COR and Program Manager.
  • Plan, organize, and manage multiple concurrent tasks ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Supervise contractor personnel including onboarding, scheduling, task assignments, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, task plans, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports, progress briefings, and management reports.
  • Track technical progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with contract requirements and government policies.
  • Support invoice review, labor hour tracking, and cost reporting.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Library Science, or a related discipline.
  • Eight (8) or more years of project or program management experience supporting Federal government contracts.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience managing contractor personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with senior government stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. Citizenship required; background check required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting Records and Information Management or information governance programs.
