Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support coordination and scheduling of VTC events and devices utilizing applicable systems over multiple classifications with a focus on JWICS.
  • Manage VTC event scheduling and availability by communicating with customers to resolve conflicts.
  • Setup and testing of conference room VTC systems for all Executive level classified VTC events.
  • Support VTC installations and configurations in addition to providing support and ongoing usability of connected desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment and software.
  • Configuration and administrative management of VTC devices.
  • Resolve level 1 up to level 3 support issues and assist in the diagnosis and resolution of higher-level issues.
  • Have a solid understanding of the technology used and how to use it.
  • Support customer installations and support in person, remote desktop and/or by phone.
  • Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
  • Must be focused on working with a team and coordinating with team members to solve complex issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active US DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 2-4 years of video teleconferencing support experience.
  • 8570 IAT II level certification, i.e. Security + CE
  • Must be able to troubleshoot VTC equipment and networking issues.
  • Knowledge of Cisco CMS preferred.
  • Must be proficient and knowledgeable in Cisco TMS, VCS, and Codian technologies
  • Must be experienced with VC Wizard scheduling system.
  • Must be able to operate Webcasts, Web Meetings, and Webinars.
  • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
  • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.

Overview

We are seeking a Network Analyst to support the DTRA IT contract at Fort Belvoir, VA.

 

The DTRA IT Collaborative Technologies group supports approximately 5200 users using distributed operations between the National Capital Region (NCR) and DTRA Albuquerque, NM and supporting facilities on Fort Belvoir, VA, as well as sites in Albuquerque, NM, Eglin AFB, FL, and a variety of CONUS and OCONUS locations. In support of the DTRA Mission IT Systems Management Group, the candidate will support multiple VTC systems at various levels of security classification.
