We are seeking an Senior Systems Administrator

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience

  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hands on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software

Certifications

  • IAT Level II

     

  • One or more of the following:

    o M2008 NET 7

    o MCITP SA

    o MCITP EA

    o CSA:WS2012

    o MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET

    o MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M.

     

  • One or more of the following:

    o System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5

    o SAPCTA - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5

    o SAP CAA – SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2

    o SAPCTA – SAP System Administration with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (Delta)

    o SAPCTA - SAP System Administration (SAP HANA as a database) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (Delta)

    o SAP HA200

    o SAP BOE320

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides all activities related to the administration of database schemas and their objects.

     

  • Projects long-range requirements for database schema administration and design in conjunction with Infrastructure DBAs in the information systems function.

     

  • Designs, creates, and maintains databases schemas in a client/server environment.

     

  • Conducts quality control and auditing of database schemas in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data and permissions.

     

  • Advises users on access to various client/server databases.

     

  • Designs, implements, and maintains complex database schema objects with respect to user requirements, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end programming languages (e.g.,SQL).

     

  • Performs database programming and supports systems design.

  • Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region.

  • Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • Amount of Travel: less than 10%
