RESPONSIBILITIES   The Computer Security specialist–lead will provide concentrated support for the cybersecurity requirementsand support the following functions:  - Analyzes and defines security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues. RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Linux workstations, VMs, and supporting software in an air-gapped DevSecOps environment. - Configure and maintain enterprise Linux administration tools such as Identity Management (IdM), Satellite, and Ansible Tower servers. - Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs. - Proactively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems. - Train junior systems administrators and help desk technicians in best practices and day-to-day operations. - Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES - Capture and reporting of IT Service Desk support metrics - Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting for all users of the DTRA systems - Maintain a web-based capability for DTRA users to enter, track and escalate Service Desk tickets, as well as self-service actions (currently using Remedy) - Remote access configuration and support for DTRA users and external customers as required (supporting telework, off-site travel, and mission or contingency operations) - Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer peripherals - Provide tracking for all deployed IT assets from procurement to disposal to allow real-time accounting of IT assets to both government and contractor personnel - Provide end-user software and application support - Coordinate security and situational awareness concerns with DTRA NOSC - Provide technical assistance and customer support in the operations and maintenance of wireless voice and data services. - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. - The Helpdesk Specialist will gather feedback directly from the service desk customer regarding their level of satisfaction with the service provided. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist the Intermediate Network Engineer and on-site government personnel in responding to and managing any tickets, alerts, or communications that come into the Network Operations Center. - Follow up with other government and contractor personnel on outstanding ticket updates. - Observe the actions of other contractor personnel to capture and assist with ticket updates or notes for after action reviews. - Provide support to other contractor personnel towards the accomplishment of their responsibilities and duties. - Contribute to reporting and data analysis of the work done under the CLIN by the NOC. RESPONSIBILITIES - Cybersecurity and IT Project Management: Accountable for the end-to-end management of cybersecurity and IT projects, emphasizing alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other compliance frameworks. - Documentation and Compliance: Creates functional and technical documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides quality assurance reviews of all products to ensure the quality of products developed for the Board are free of errors – this includes technical editing, grammar, and information graphics.  - Developing speaking points for executive leadership - Creating briefing memos and packages - Supporting high profile meetings and committees in support of federal customers - Provides general expertise on a variety of topics in support of Board activities, including technical editing of white papers on cybersecurity related topics, Subcommittee and working panel support, and technically accurate and readable notes from all Board meetings and Subcommittee meetings.  - Supports the production of interim, draft, and final reports, to include a non-public report (potentially at a classified level). RESPONSIBILITIES This position will support activities within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve on the Information Assurance Directives (IAD) Team with the responsibility of reviewing higher-level cybersecurity orders to include JFHQ-DODIN Cyber Tasking Order (CTOs) as well as OPORDS / TASKORDS / WARNORDS / EXORDS / PLANORDS, etc. - Acknowledge receipt of orders and tasks, distribute to system owners throughout the agency, and manage actions through closure. - Attend daily JFHQ-DODIN operation sync meeting and coordinate with the JFHQ-DODIN Battle station on all outstanding tasks and actions. - Attain an understanding of DTRA systems, enclaves, and environments to distribute and coordinate tasks internally. - Prepare status briefings of all CTO tasking and priority items and brief to cybersecurity leadership. - Coordinate with other internal DTRA teams for awareness including the DTRA CSSP, Cyber Watch Officers (CWO), and validation team on CTO tasking and compliance. - Knowledge of cybersecurity systems and cybersecurity tools (i.e.. eMASS, ACAS, CMRS, Tanium, ESS, etc.). - Ability to translate technical and general oral and written communication to leadership and peers. RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide support for the facilitation of AV/VTC events to include setup, coordination, connection, and troubleshooting. - Provide AV/VTC hardware/software troubleshooting and escalate to higher level tiered support as needed. - Maintain awareness of conference room availability and provide the customer with alternative facility and connection options if a scheduled room is inoperable. - Conduct preventative maintenance and testing of AV/VTC rooms to ensure continued operability. - Prepare scheduled conference rooms at least 15 minutes prior to each event by joining the room to the conference, validating audio and video transmission and quality with meeting attendees/sites, ensuring that presentations are displaying properly (as applicable), and ensuring that cameras and microphones are optimally configured. - Attend scheduled conferences and provide support for camera and microphone control as well as any needed AV/VTC troubleshooting for each event. - Update and maintain SNOW tickets per SLA requirements. - Provide tier I/II enterprise support for USITC AV/VTC equipment to include audio controllers, data interfaces, document cameras (ELMO), Cable TV, miscellaneous AV/VTC equipment and other commonly used peripherals within the Government computing environment. - Contact appropriate vendor repair personnel for warranty and/or proprietary repairs; explain and demonstrate the malfunction; verify repairs fixed the problem. - Provide knowledge transfer to customer in the administration of the AV/VTC system.   - Create user job aides to facilitate setup and operation of AV/VTC sessions without administrator intervention. - After hours/on-call support may be required when approved by the COR/COTR. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience: - Two years of AV/VTC support experience including the operation and troubleshooting of control panels, displays, cameras, and microphones. - Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, AMX, and Webex solutions/environments. - Experience developing user guides and training end-users on the operation of AV/VTC equipment. - Clearance: - Must possess a Secret Clearance.

BOEM and BSEE are responsible for managing the nation’s offshore energy, minerals, and natural resources on the Federal Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). BSEE promotes safety, protects the environment, and conserves resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. BOEM manages the responsible exploration and development of offshore energy and marine mineral resources on the OCS.
