RESPONSIBILITIES - Be knowledgeable of the equipment, parts, and components that are covered by warranty and the duration of such warranties. Available warranty information will be furnished to the Contractor by the COTR or delegated individual. - Ensure all equipment, components, and parts, are not removed or replaced or deficiencies corrected while still under warranty of the manufacturer (or the installer) without prior approval of the CO or COTR or delegated individual. - Establish and maintain operating parts and supplies to ensure systems can be restored to proper operating condition within 8 hours. - Contractor shall maintain spare parts/equipment in secure storage spaces for purposes of repairing/replacing faulty equipment. - Contractor should assist on general physical and technical security projects as needed. - Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Job Description: This task will provide Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FLENUMMETOCCEN) with support for engineering End-to-End Data Flow Monitoring of critical operational information technology (IT) functions by analyzing FLENUMMETOCCEN’s networks, data, and systems connected to NIPRNET. This work will include documentation, analysis, planning, engineering, software implementation and updates, as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES   Meeting Participation and Support - Organize and support meetings required by the government to include scheduling, drafting presentation materials, conducting briefings, and other related activities - Formal meetings the contractors shall be expected to support include: - Periodic Reviews: Biweekly status reviews with the Unit Chief via telephone or in person as required by the government - Other Meetings: Participate in other meetings as required by the government by preparing presentation materials relating to program status, accomplishments, issues, and deliverables, including picture or graphic files.
