The program will provide direct IT services support to customer mission applications, systems, custom capabilities, supporting infrastructures, and other technology-based solutions in the CONUS and OCONUS. TekSynapprovides custom-developed IT capabilities and operationalize advanced technologies from public, private, and academic sectors to support customer mission requirements. The programprovides the ability to innovate and adapt capabilities, leveraging analytical Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) learned from embedded support to Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and tactical operations. This programincludes, software development, data integration, system integration, direct operations, engineering, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to mission applications, mission systems, and supporting infrastructure.  RESPONSIBILITIES  The Senior Site Operations Managerwillprovide support at the mission enclave at customer’s Reston site.  This site requiressecure, compliant, and available to authorized users 24 hours per day, seven days per week (24x7). The candidate will ensure that the CI/CD pipeline from development to production including automation, tools, and methodologies is continuously optimized to accelerate delivery of capabilities to users and mission partners. The candidate will ensure that deployed capabilities are integrated, delivered, and supported to meet the mission, functional and schedule requirements of deployed forces. The contractor will ensure mission capabilities and the supporting infrastructure remain continuously compliant with the customer, DoD, DISA, and IC cybersecurity and technical requirements.The successful candidate willbe responsible for:  - Improving mission system and infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness through engineering support services.  - Providing IT support to customer COOP, DR, and fail-over efforts and site(s), primarily performing administration and coordination from the primary site.  - Supporting the customer mission as an early adopter of innovative technologies and mission capabilities by acquiring, leveraging, and implementing advanced capabilities, methodologies, technologies, and subject matter expertise from public, commercial, and academic sectors that may be conceptual, experimental, or the product of customer and non-customer development programs.   - Advising Government personnel of relevant new or emerging technologies, perform technology assessments, and provide performance-enhancing recommendations as requested by the Government.  - Continuously assessing and optimizing performance of the mission enclave, including the path and process by which mission capabilities are introduced into production environments.  - Providing mission enclave operations and maintenance (O&M).  - Providing incident, problem, outage, and trouble management.  - Providing on-premises special purpose processing node (SPPN) operations and management (O&M).     REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  - Minimum 12 years of specific, increasingly responsible for required experience below:  - Required experience:  - The customerrequires that the Senior Site Operations Manager has the following qualifications:  - Passed examination for one or more IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Version 4 Specialist modules towards ITIL Version 4 Managing Professional (MP).   RESPONSIBILITIES - Answer user calls, emails, and trouble tickets to provide general user support related to their IT equipment or other needs. - Creates, updates and closes out help desk tickets.  - Works with other Tier 1 and Tier II Support staff to ensure proper hand-off of tickets for prompt resolution and if needed escalation.  - Provide Tier I support for customers, which include incident management activities such as basic fixes, general troubleshooting, and non-invasive corrective actions. The Help Desk will act as the entry point for any and all incidents across the system.  - Perform basic, First Call Resolution (FCR) incident resolution, incident document and entering clear and concise information into the ServiceNOW ticketing system.  - Provide direct support to end users by supporting “how to” questions, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving issues in response to customer reported incidents. - Responsible for alerting management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. - Assign tickets to Tier 2/3 technicians as necessary. - Coordinate security and situational awareness concerns with TekSynap Management. - Participate in regular team meetings and process improvement projects and training. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with our customer base as well as office staff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 1-3 years of experience - Prior experience in a government consulting services environment is preferred - Must be able to fluently communicate verbal and written using English.
