The Tier I-NOC Technician provides Network Operations Center support and front-line communications, monitoring, support, diagnosis, and coordination with specialized support groups. Utilize several network monitoring tools to ensure the viability of the network, while responding to a variety of hardware and software issues. RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee the Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) Team responsible for executing MACs within the JSP Transport enterprise to include activations/deactivations, installations, relocations, and upgrades of equipment, ensuring alignment with JSP guidelines and standards. - Develop and maintain a proficient team to execute MACs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. - Oversee all aspects of MAC execution, including hardware moves, port activations/deactivations, and office reconfigurations. - Ensure compliance with JSP's change management process and track MACs via service request tickets. - Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring problems related to MACs, networks, and systems under JSP's responsibility. - Include analysis results in the Monthly MAC Report for continuous improvement. - Track MAC requests via service request tickets and make the tracking system accessible to customers and government oversight. - Prepare monthly summary reports detailing MACs performed, including location, assignment/completion dates, and status updates. - Respond to, coordinate, and manage all Change Requests (CRQs) for additions, removals, and modifications to Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) maintenance coverage. - Prepare, submit, and track CRQ approvals, ensuring compliance with configuration and change management processes. - Update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) with MAC information for traceability. - Follow established change and configuration management policies and processes to ensure appropriate change control and asset accountability. - Manage the installation, maintenance, and modifications of both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructure components. - Coordinate the installation and maintenance of OSP infrastructure, including manholes, handholes, and feed access points. - Conduct site surveys, review feasibility studies, and provide detailed documentation of all OSP activities. - Overseeing the execution of projects within budget and timeline constraints.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience: - 3 years relevant experience - Certifications: - RCDD Certification - Education:  - Bachelor’s degree in related field - Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret /SCI Clearance
